What to do with my "new" TaylorMade SuperQuad Driver ?

In the spring I got a new TaylorMade SuperQuad Driver 9.5 deg with a Stiff shaft. Hate it ! I am replacing it with the Burner TP.
Were is the best place to sell this club besides Ebay ?

If you have a play it again sports you can sell it to them or they will sell it for you and take a percentage.

would you recomend buying a clone taylor made burner driver and 3 wood?

i have hit the both the driver and 3 wood and loved them but dont want to spend the money to get them. so i looked at these clones and they looked the same. has any one ever had any experience with the clones.

worked in a Golf factory in hong kong(custom clubmakers) who at the time was casting the original callaway big berthas and king cobra oversize irons and there was no difference in materials used, the only difference was the stamps put into the backs of the casts were different. they were marketed as king snake, crown viper and big bazza irons. having said that, most knock offs are put together by people who generally have no idea regarding swing weight, length and total weight which has a dramatic impact on feel. that’s why you pay the extra for the real thing. also i would recommend checking ebay at least once, some cheap clubs about.

What are good golf clubs and how much should I expect them to cost?

Hi, my husband loves to golf, but needs new clubs. I don’t know anything about golf, but I would like to surprise him for our anniversary with a new set. What are some good brands, and how much can I expect to spend?

Don’t even consider choosing his clubs for him. Clubs are so individual and high end clubs do require proper fitting by a professional. Callaway, Ping and Taylor made are amongst the best but Mizuno, Hogan and Adams amongst other are good as well.
Go to the nearest discount Golf store in your area and get a $1,500. gift certificate. You could get away with less or pay even more it is all about your budget. If you want a complete set of top end clubs, expect to pay $1,000 for a good set of Irons, $up to 1,000 for a good set of 3 woods (metals), $200 each for any Hybrids, $200 for a putter and $500 for a set of wedges. A matching manufactures bag would run around $250.
You decide how much he will decide what. That will work.
