PGA Winner Callaway FT-9 Driver Review

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Everybody has heard of Callaway golf and a large portion of Golfers own Callaway drivers. Callaway FT-9 driver is one of the best golf drivers that is made. Callaway Drivers have won many PGA tour events, many by Phil Mickelson!

The Callaway FT-9 Driver is the successor on the golf wholesale market to the hugely successful FT-5 range and offers the thinking, cretive golfer the chance to gain extra distance from the tee without losing any of the workability so crucial in the shaping of shots. Before it is even released to the general public the FT-9 Driver has proved to be one of the most popular on the PGA European Tour.

It features a carbon composite body and titanium face with Hyberbolic Face Technology to make it more forgiving. For the first time a Callaway Driver uses Hyberbolic Face Cup Technology to shape the clubface and ensure vastly superior ball speed across the entire face combined with Callaway’s largest ever face. With its slightly open face angle and a lower, more penetrating ball flight, it can also be customized for a neutral or draw trajectory.

The Fusion Technology which underpins the whole FT ranges allows the FT-9 to create maximum perimeter weighting to ensure ultra forgiveness on ever off centre shots. Externally placed weights allow the FT-9 to have its centre of gravity in the optimum location to deliver the ideal, penetrative ball flight. The Callaway FT-9 driver is already the choice of the Tour and promises to deliver to every golfer Tour style length and workability.

Phil Mickelson had high praise for the driver even after shooting high numbers at a recent tournament. The price can be a headache, but you may find some golf wholesale stores and choose the best to buy if you want to have a good bargain.

Finally narrowed it down to two Drivers, Callaway or Ping?

I am looking at the Callaway Hyper X, and the Ping Rhapsody, both for a woman. I am unfortunately not able to swing either before buying. I have used a men’s Ping G10 before and loved the feel of it, so it made me think go for Ping, then I read about the Hyper X and thought that looked good too? Ugh it is driving me nuts, I just need to make a decision.

But when you are looking at $300 you want it to be right. Also I currently use 12* and was thinking I may get more distance with 11* I know it’s not much of a difference, but the Callaway comes in 11 and the Ping comes in 12 14 16, I don’t think I want to go up any higher than 12, I get plenty of loft? Any of your help is GREATLY appreciated!!
